Personal data. Of course you’d rather keep them to yourself. But if you want to order from us, we are going to need your information. We can imagine you would like to know why we need your personal data and – more importantly – what we do with it. You can read about this below. What do we do with your data?

We use your data for different purposes, which are explained below. This concerns information you may have entered yourself, for example when placing an order, but also data we collect ourselves, such as about your visit to our website.

Your order

In order to deliver your order and to keep you informed about the process, we need your name, e-mail address, address(es) and telephone number. We also provide this information to others if necessary to process the order, for example to the delivery service that delivers your order to your home. We demand them to handle your data just as carefully as we do.

Repairs

All product repairs are carried out in-house in our own Service Centre in 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. The data we ask of you in the event of a repair is therefore never shared with others, only with the delivery service that delivers your product back to your home.

Contests

If you participate in one of our contests or prize draws, your data will not be saved. If you are selected as the winner, we ask for your details to send you the prize. In order not to select the same winner in multiple consecutive contests or prize draws, the winners' personal data will be saved for 3 months after the end of the contest. This way everyone gets a fair chance.

Shopping experience

To ensure that our website works well and you can enjoy shopping in our web shop better, we use cookies. These are small files that are sent with pages from our website and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer. This allows our website to remember your settings and preferences and enables us to investigate how our website is used, to make continuous improvements to your shopping experience. These cookies cannot be used to read confidential data from your computer and we never share the information we collect with cookies with others.

Social media

On the product pages in our web shop you may find buttons from various social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter, which may be used to share Bestron products that you like or find useful with your friends. Clicking these buttons does not grand us access to your social media account. If you reach out to our customer service through social media, any additional information we might ask of you will never be used for any purpose other than to answer your question.

What don’t we do with your data?

We will never use your personal data to show you different prices in our web shop than to other consumer costumers: each consumer customer is shown the same price for our products (prices may differ per country setting though). We will never sell your personal information to others.

How is your data secured?

We take various measures regarding data security and access restrictions to protect your data. For example, your data is only accessible to employees for whom it is necessary they work with them. If we give your information to someone else, we demand that the other person handles your data just as carefully as we do. Do you feel that does not happen? Let us know through contact.
