Dear customer,

During a safety investigation, it emerged that the manual for the Bestron table fan DDF35W contains an incorrect description regarding the maintenance of the fan. The manual in the CLEANING and MAINTENANCE section states:

"Over time, dust can accumulate between the spokes of the fan basket and on the fan fins. First try to remove the dust with a hand brush and/or vacuum cleaner. If this does not work, you can take the fan apart and clean it.

If the plug is not removed from the socket, there is a risk of electric shock if you accidentally come into contact with a metal part of the fan such as the motor shaft.

By following the steps below during maintenance, you prevent the risk of electric shock.

Before dusting the fan: Put the appliance in stop mode by pressing button 0. Unplug the appliance from the mains. Wipe the outside of the appliance only with a dry cloth. Do not use water or any other liquid. You can clean the protective grille with a vacuum cleaner (nozzle). Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance. Never remove the fan protective grille to clean the blades. Once fitted during commissioning, it must not be disassembled.
